The Basic Rummy Rules:
- The game needs a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 6 players with the classic 2 deck distribution, more players can join with more number of decks
- A dealer is chosen at random and usually changed at the end of every round towards the left of the initial dealer, to avoid any partiality in distribution.
- 13 cards are distributed to each player after a thorough shuffling of the cards.
- The 'Joker' is chosen at random as well after distribution of the 13 cards and will remain with the status of joker for the remainder of the round. This secondary joker does not include the already printed jokers in the deck, each deck has two jokers.
- Each card holds the numeric face value to the point system, face cards Ace, Jack, Queen, King are 10 points each.
- You can declare your cards when you have the winning sequence in hand.
The Rummy Game Rules for Sequences:
- At least one pure set is required for the entirety of your sequences (no jokers)
- A sequence in which jokers are allowed to complete a sequence.
- A sequence of set or runs
How to Use Rummy Rules to Win?
